sew vivienne, duh.

Fashion week ends in New York, and starts up again in London and Milan.
Here are some fancy shoes from Vivienne Westwood's collection.
I just CRAVE for her uniqueness. She rocks the best straight edge grunge punk flare.

I honestly wonder what it's like to be her, or Marc Jacobs and have such a creative brain to just INVENT TRENDS off the mere top of their head. Insane in the membrane. (haha, cheesy)

I'd love to meet them and other creative people in this crazy fashion industry so I could just pick their brain and try to absorb some real die-hard fashion innovation

sew mk.

Mary-Kate just recently had an interview with 'Interview' magazine, for the month of March.
Check out the interview - MK has fashion brains, and bright brains put together. Gotta love her.

sew chooo true.

Now that fashion week is over.. back to reality. What a wonderful week; can't wait for fall to come!
The Oscars were last night, and I must say, I loved every single dress that walked the red carpet, especially Miley Cryrus's.
Each dress was completely, aesthetically different; however, did you notice that almost everyone was wearing Jimmy Choos? Oh yeah, Jimmy Choo walked the red carpet about a million times with Amanda Seyfried, Taraji Henson, and Alicia Keys.
Here are my favorite:

Oh, and I forgot to mention for I just heard that Christian Siriano's shoes are going to be available in Payless come this fall, running about 40-60$ bucks each!! Did you just cream yourself?? So did I :)

AND I forgot to show a couple models that fell during the runway shows, with those 6 inch heels on. poor girls.
A lot of models in London are dropping like flies. Beware of the platform in London ladies!

sew stupid.

being stupid has finally caught up with me. go figure, right, since I just blogged about it.

I'll probably be blogging a lot more now.. fashion world is better than reality at the moment.

sew amnesia.

Well, last night was probably the best night of my life. Alex and I took a little roadtrip to Athens, and seriously partied our asses off, like the crazy little girls we are. Super hella fun :) Totally priceless. We could of died.. no one knew we were there, went with dead phones, meeting up with people we didn't even know, smart, right? But whatevaaaaa. All expenses paid, new friends made, all memories fade. Purple Rain. We really have angels watching over us. I love my new parents!
Now I'm just chillin on Alex's couch, eating rice and feeling death.. But last night was totally worth the pain this morning:) Gotta love life, just roll with it. I just think 'are you going to remember staying at home thinking what if, or actually taking a chance, livin life on the wild side.' I want to die with 10 million pictures in my library, flat broke, and a closet full of designer shoes. You're only given 1 life, 1 chance.. why  not run with it.

Here's Zac Posen's Fall 2009 shoes. His line was awesome. His shoes.. not so much.
They look like cinderella shoes stuck in an awful retro renaissance era. Not feelin' em.

sew solemates.

Well, due to my 'going-out-ness' last night, I missed updating.. but here I am, at the crack of dawn catching up on what I missed. So, this morning was a tranny mess. I wake up on time for class, already dressed and ready to go, haha, just a little pant-less, and as I'm looking for my car in the parking lot, I remember 'oh yeah, it's not here.' Lovely. So much for going to class. But duh, now I have time to blog!! And the first thing I do, look up Christian Siriano's line. (I'll blog about Zac Posen later, time to go back to sleep.)
I love the fabric and color palette he uses. His line is flawless. And of course, LOVED THE SHOES.

sew, more shoes!

Day #4. (pleasantly waiting for Christian Siriano's line at 6:00....)

Vera Wang had nothing to offer, shoe wise or clothes wise. I think the only thing that actually touched the models skin was the plain black booties. I didn't like how everything was loose and just hung on the model like a hanger. boring.

Mara Hoffman - I really want those colored feathered leggings!!

Catherine Malandrino had some killer high heels, but I think the clothes designs overlooked them. She had some weird embellishments on some of the pieces.. slinky hands wrapping around the waist and shoulder, then an eye in the middle of the dress, and the hair! Kinda creepy, but I liked it! I loved the angel wing / bird wing embroidery the most. She had a couple fur pieces..which reminds me.. WHERE THE HELL IS PETA??

Phillip Lim - I would seriously kill for these ankle boots!

                     Marchesa                                                 Doo.Ri                                             Diesel Black Gold

Proenza Schouler - chunkyness with pattern. I like it. Renaissance meets NYC?

sew hump day in fashion.

New day = new shows = new shoes.
(Michael Kors didn't do much for me. what a surprise. same with baby phat.)

Nanette Lepore - I've never heard of this designer, so I thought I'd check out her debut and I like her line!! Her shoes are cute to say the least- cheetah print booties, with bow ties at the ankle. I love her mix-n-match designs and texture.

Oscar de la renta - I love these silver shiny bootie pumps. And of course, his dresses are just drop dead gorgeous. Thought I'd post them just for drool factors. His line was full of priceless pieces, you know Rachel Zoe picked up half of them.
