July is practically over, which means vacation time is over, which means summer is over.. which means it's time to starting thinking Fall. Even though the Atlanta weather man is still calling 90 degree weather, Fall is right around the corner; it's time to put those summer sandals away (please just throw away those Old Navy flip flops, and god forbid, those Crocs. don't donate them.. it's time to make them disappear), and get ready for the season.

This Fall season is going to be one word: FIERCE. No Ugg boots, no boring flats, no plain jane black pumps.

Black leather heels with buckles and zippers. Black is always the signature color of Fall, but be in the style with buckles on the side and zippers on the back heel. Balmain is this Fall's spotlight shoe designer, so to start Fall off on the right foot, buy his foot or even his knockoff; you'll be steppin' in front of Carrie Bradshaw.

From the looks of the forecasts, your feet for Fall will be the feet of a gothic boss lady.

"New York street style - from heel to toe."

Last week I took a trip to New York City and walked down every street from 135th in Harlem to Canal Street in China Town, Broadway in Soho and 42nd street in Time Square; from the subway to the underground clubs. As I walked, I studied the footwear of everyone that brushed shoulders with me (even Bruce Willis), and of the millions of people I encountered, they were all wearing the same street style : bohemian strappy/cut-out sandals .

Not one New Yorker had the same pair of sandals on, but they all were wearing the same silhouette (the same style I wrote about last week). Buckles, jewels, studs, ties, in all different colors.

So, follow my shoe style advice, as well as New Yorkers: throw away those boring Old Navy flippy flops, and get yourself a pair of these fashion-forward sandals. Your feet will thank you.

And you won't even have to break your bank. You can find these styles at DSW, Urban Outfitters, Top Shop, Steven Madden, Forever21, Bakers, and Traffic for super cheap.

Please make sure you are sitting down while reading this, because your knees will buckle and your feet will tingle: H&M is doing their first designer brand collaboration with none other than Jimmy Choo; the luxury shoe designer. His hand-made heels are typically only available for the high & mighty fashionistas who can afford the $600+ choos. However, thanks to this brilliant fashion business merger, you and I can now be among the high & mighty with Choos on our feet thanks to H&M.

Shoes will run from $99 to $129, with high-end models selling for $299. Still a little pricey, but compared to regular costs, completely worth affording, especially since seeing the example above. Sometimes brand name designers design "low-end" shoes that just aren't that stylish and luxurious compared to their "high-end" line, like they designed cheap looking heels to almost mock our small "cheap" budget. But by the looks of it, H&M and Choo are designing some killer heels for their small wallet-ed fashion customers.

H&M and Jimmy Choo will also launch a clothing line, accessory line, and handbag line to match the shoes.

The Jimmy Choo for H&M collection will be available this fall, November 14th in only 200 stores nationwide. I'm almost positive Atlanta's H&M will be on the list, so mark your calendars!

So, instead of just looking at Choos through the glass window, or even trying a pair on pretending you're going to buy them (with the sales rep whispering and giggling "yeah right sister, keep dreaming"), you can now finally make your dream a reality and own a true pair of Jimmy Choos. How many people can say that? Well, now you!

I hope this rubs off on Manolo Blahnik and they team up with Target. :)

What to wear on the 4th of July? Over-the-top cliche color matching vs. "someone's not in the USA spirit." Well, don't stress over what's on top; worry about what's on the bottom, on the bottom of your feet that is.

"stupid, ugly CROCS." that was so last year.

Two years ago, I remember joining a group on Facebook - "I Don't Care How Comfortable Crocs Are, You Look Like A Dumbass." I've never been a fan of the "holey turtle feet, boat-sized, now decorated with cute cheesy snap on's" CROCS. To be honest, I personally think they just look ridiculous, especially when paired with jeans and a t-shirt. If you're in the nursing/doctor scrubs field, gardening, fishing, whatever other activity you would consider CROCS a must to wear, that's acceptable. But when worn as "fashion," I cannot accept the overly used excuse "but they're comfortable." Sorry. Comfortable and light? Perhaps; I've personally never put a CROC on my foot in my entire life. But stylish? Well, to swallow my words hard and painfully, yes, now they are.

I went to the mall the other day, and instead of going my normal route, only bee-lining it to the stores I only shop at, I decided to take a detour and go down a side branch, you know, the branches of the mall with the stores you never really actually acknowledge because you're only determined to get to the food court or leave.. Well, I went down one with an open mind. Perhaps to open, because I passed the store that made me put my foot in my mouth. I passed the CROC store. (I mean, I never even knew a kind of shoe store existed; only specifically selling CROCS) And saw this in the window.

These aren't CROCS! These are flats! that come in various pretty spring colors and stylish prints/designs. And they're actually kinda cute!

So, I decided to keep the open mind, swallow my fashion ego, take a deep breath, and walk in... and to my surprise, I discovered the CROC World. A shoe world I had never even known about; one I was persistent in staying ignorant about.

And as I looked around.. I discovered entirely new CROC shoe breeds. Open-toed wedged CROCS! Open-toed heeled CROCS! Mary-jane CROCS! and came in almost every color ever desired!

Maybe I'm too late in reporting this shoe world, for my ignorance got the best of me, but I'm seriously taken back by my discovery of the CROC shoe world. I'll now admit, CROCS are not just CROCSanymore. They're comfy, light, AND stylish. CROCS, on record, are the new high heel.

(However, as enlightened as I was, I did not put a single CROC on my foot, and still won't. I just can't do it.)

(And one more thing: I don't really know when is the appropriate season to wear CROCS? I mean, for summer, wouldn't your feet get hot and sweaty? And for the winter, your feet would get too cold due to the rubber material? So wear socks? and that's fashionable? I think not.)

So today I took my shoes off and just completely directed all my fashion attention to the fashion blogs that I follow hourly like my mere bible.. which came to be a huge mistake, and I put my heels right back on!

I have read some serious devastating reports; I mean, with this news, my sky could very well fall, and it seems like it is going to fall in the season of Fall: "insanely high heels are on their way out of shoe fashion season come the next few months."

Wait. What!

I mean, Spring '09 heels seemed as if they were reaching new fashion heights proudly from Roger Vivier's, Dolce & Gabanna, Christian Louboutin's 8 inch heels, and even Nina Ricci's 12 inch heels, but now, Vena Cava, Calvin Klein, and Marc Jacobs all debuted flats in their 2010 resorts, and even stylists and high fashionistas are purposely sticking their heels in cracks and ripping them off for Fall '09.

Andre Leon Talley states: "Designers with an obsession for towering torture chambers, often poorly designed for the well-being of the foot, must get a reality check. I, for one, am over the mania for high, high heel. Too many career women look like a herd of fashion beasts, aping one another in impractical shoes."

Even Patricia Fields, stylist for Sex & the City, is 'tired' of the heavy, over-the-top heels. The queen of funky eccentric fashion wants to simplify! "I am getting tired of these heavy hoes. I'm ready for nice, refined shoes. I'm wanting that simplicity. But that's just a feeling."

Well I personally pray that's a feeling they all just get over, because I season without high heels?

Fashion is high heels, and high heels are fashion. Our heels should stay 5 inches off the ground, don't you agree.

yes, yes, I know.. I haven't blogged AT ALL in a long time, especially on this blog.

My other blog is doing alright I suppose.. I've made a few dollars so far, which is good, but I'm having major writer's block. I'm suppose to write about the shoe fashions in Atlanta.. well, I live a thousand blocks away from Atlanta and Atlanta isn't NYC or LA.. I mean, the sidewalks are not necessarily bleeding fashion through the cracks.. so I don't know what to sayyyy!! or what to report!! And I can't include anything about my personal life, aka I can't vent like I'm doing now, so that leaves even more empty titles, empty lines..

Sigh, I think tomorrow I'm going to just drive to Atlanta, park somewhere, and just walk around, and find some sort of shoe inspiration and take a couple snap shots. Whether it's from a heel in a window or even a heel clicking down the road. We'll see I suppose.

I wish I got paid for this blog.. it's my baby.. I love it so much more.

Oh em gee! Check out Christian Louboutin's new shoe campaign!

FootCandy & Christian Louboutin teamed up to benefit the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant foundation, an organization that rescues elephants by giving them homes in the jungle of the Golden Triangle, by designing these bubble-gum pink strappy stilettos. Only 50 pairs have been made, and all proceeds go to the precious Dumbos in Asia.

Rain, Rain, PLEASE GO AWAY!

I have literally been stranded in my own apartment this entire week.

No work, No sun, No 'fun' for me. This has got to stop.

I am so bored that I actually went to the local book store and bought some books to read.

And I think I have seen every "Wife Swap" episode ever recorded.

I have not been fashiony this entire week, I don't even think I have put on a pair of shoes, and that's sayin' something.

Well, back in my apartment, back in my bed, back to being pretty chill.

Home was more than nice;

finally got to catch up on family, friends, food, laughter, and sleep.

However, I feel pretty off-balance.. like I'm forgetting to do something. Going from work work work deadline to nothing.. nothing to do, nothing to worry about, total calmness.. I just feel weird. ha ha. But I must say, it's nice.

Today is/was a wonderful day!

Went shopping with mommy, AND it was on her tab :)

And it's funny.. because all the shoes on display are such knock-offs of Prada and Dolce&Gabana strappy heels, spring '09. Such crap, so over those heels already. That's the one thing I hate about having this blog. I know every design of every heel of every designer of every season. So, every shoe in every department store just doesn't measure up and is just 'so last season.'

I just CANNOT wait until I can afford the real things at the real time... not thru the retail grape vine when they're about to be out of season. Ugh.

But I saw this on perezhilton.com.. just cracks me up.

I hate Heidi & Spencer.

They made 'The Hills' not real.. and that's devastating. ha ha.

Wish they would just get over themselves.

Last Thursday night I modeled for 'Night of Spectacles', a fashion competition/auction held for fashion design students across Georgia, in downtown Atlanta at Club Opera. The event was to design a garment incorporating recycled eye-glasses, and then have the garment auctioned off, and the winner of the competition would win a scholarship. All of Atlanta's social elite were there, along with designers from Brenau University, Georgia Southern, & SCAD, fashion icon Michael Knight, and high fashionistas from Saks Fifth and Valentino.

My fashion designer/classmate Jerome Bacon created a BEAUTIFUL white mini cocktail dress using broken yellow frames as an embellishment design on the bodice, and then the actual eye-glasses as decoration on the hem. So chic & classy, and it fit me like a glove! And the other designs were pretty remarkable as well!

The entire event was spec-tacular! While the judges deliberated, Jerome & I networked the crowd like bosses. We had a million pictures taken, along with an interview with 411 Radio/News. And the free dessert bar was oh so yummy!

But a good night is never honestly GOOD without some drama.

Here's the scoop: Jerome and I were to give these other 2 designers a ride to the event. However, they had us wait on them for over an hour because they were so unorganized and the design wasn't even completed.. so we decided to just leave them, for we couldn't hit Atlanta traffic and thus hurt Jerome's success at the show. I mean, can you blame us? Well get this: four hours into the event, 5 minutes before the judges were going to announce the scholarship winner, the girls show up, and give this sad story on how their "car broke down but they were oh so determined on making it to the event and are such resilient, hard-working designers." ha ha, please. Well, the judges fell for their story and ended up giving the scholarship to them. I wish someone could have captured all of our faces when that was announced, for we all turned to each other, with big fake smiles and clapping "what the hell..." We were furious!! I mean, I could have died.

But the good news: Jerome's dress sold for $135, and he got hella good reviews & connections made!

UPDATE : the judges finally realized the un-fairness and reconsidered.

Winner will be announced Monday! I'll let you know. Fingers crossed for Jerome!!

I must say, I'm most definitely doing this myself next year!!

So, it's the night before finals week, and let's just say.. I'm not looking forward to it, or getting out of bed for that matter.

This entire weekend you would think I was handcuffed to my bed post for I literally did not leave my room or my bed. I don't know if I'm coming down with the death flu, or if my body is pulling a 'celebrity exhaustion' state of mind or what.. but I feel completely drained and just tired.. But anyway, one more week of school and then I'm golden in summertime.

So, I'm having 'introverted' moments with myself.. and thus, dreamin' big..

and ya know, I would so love to be like Carrie Bradshaw one day. Seriously.

To live in the fashion capital, the city that never sleeps, and to be able to stroll/stomp those streets everyday, day & night, in a fabulous pair of high heels... and call that your lifestyle, as if it were nothing 'special' and you didn't know any different.

Yes, I know Carrie Bradshaw is fictional, along with her lavish life portrayed, but I so do passionately dream and wish for that New York City fashion lifestyle to be mine one day.

To do what I love, wear what I love, and be surrounded by a fabulous circle of friends that I love.. that can't be fictional.

I swear, that WILL BE ME one day. ONE DAY.

And I'm not stopping, and nothing will stop me, until I'm there.

My true goal in life is to own exceptionally amazingly killer heels

...and to just have somewhere to go in them.

I haven't look at any fashion blogs, updates, anything to spare some sanity. Like I totally took them off my Tab-bar, so they won't FLASH at me 24/7 and then I don't feel as bad for not writing/blogging.. losing S.E.W.brunette.. I try to mind-trick myself all the time.. doesn't really work though. Because then I double-think of it, instead of double-forgetting, and then I have to really swallow that I'm honestly tricking myself.. which is absolutely worse. Then tears.

Ugh.

But I must say, there is light at the end of this tunnel.

Wow, it's been almost a month since my last blog. Dang.

Well, I check the fashion/shoe blogs daily, but like Steph and I were saying just the other day, I just haven't felt inspired to blog. Now that all the fashion weeks are over or coming to an end.. so is my head and my creativity. School and fashion projects and personal bullshit have really gotten the best of me. I can't wait to see that sunshine this summer..

Oh gosh, I'm about to have a nervous breakdown. Last week of school until Spring Break.. and I have so many tests and projects due this week.. along with training for work.. and this morning when I had to move the clock ahead, I almost had an anxiety attack. ha ha. I need all the hours I can get!! This bad mood is killing me.. and have you ever noticed that when you are in a bad mood, everyone else seems to be in like this SPECTACULAR over-the-top good mood; like they're feeding off your bad mood and it's making them feel so much better, so therefore they have to shove it in your face. Ughh, I hate people. ha ha. Ahhhhh (deep breath) I'll make it; one hour at a time.

Wow, I haven't posted in a while.. It has been the last 2 weeks of school before Spring Break, which means a million midterms and projects have been due and are due for next week. I'm so over next week already, like seriously, its bad. I cannot wait to be on the beach wearing nothing but a bathing suit, shades, and hat allllllllll freakkinnn weeekk!! OMG!

Anywayyyy, done day dreaming.. I've been meaning to post a million shoes/ideas, but just haven't gotten around to it. Ok, ok, so I've been a little lazy, but now that I have 15 orange babies, I'll be tweaked from here on out. (hopefully I lose 5 lbs in the process too!)

So, lately, designers have been taking heels to an entirely different level. Above and beyond design, literally.

Here are Nina Ricci's shoes.. or platforms.. or whatever you could call these things.. it's a whole-nother breed!

I just love how a "heel" was added.. as a joke? 11 inchs all together, holy shit.

Seriously, check out her line. It is unreal what walked down that runway.

Believe it or not, not ONE single model fell during her show. Modeling is a sheer sport/talent. You go girls!

However, at the Brian Reyes show.. simple 5 inch heels were unwalkable, having the finale look like this: erk.

On the flip, Rick Owens made SHOE HISTORY at his collection debut. It speaks for itself..

haha, TA DAHHH! It's without a doubt stupidly hideous.. but genius..

Ugly or not, it's awesome to be the very first in fashion, duh!

Dolce & Gabanna redefined platform/wedge for Fall 2009 with retro designs and colors.

I just CRAVE for her uniqueness. She rocks the best straight edge grunge punk flare.

Now that fashion week is over.. back to reality. What a wonderful week; can't wait for fall to come!

The Oscars were last night, and I must say, I loved every single dress that walked the red carpet, especially Miley Cryrus's.

Each dress was completely, aesthetically different; however, did you notice that almost everyone was wearing Jimmy Choos? Oh yeah, Jimmy Choo walked the red carpet about a million times with Amanda Seyfried, Taraji Henson, and Alicia Keys.

Well, last night was probably the best night of my life. Alex and I took a little roadtrip to Athens, and seriously partied our asses off, like the crazy little girls we are. Super hella fun :) Totally priceless. We could of died.. no one knew we were there, went with dead phones, meeting up with people we didn't even know, smart, right? But whatevaaaaa. All expenses paid, new friends made, all memories fade. Purple Rain. We really have angels watching over us. I love my new parents!

Now I'm just chillin on Alex's couch, eating rice and feeling death.. But last night was totally worth the pain this morning:) Gotta love life, just roll with it. I just think 'are you going to remember staying at home thinking what if, or actually taking a chance, livin life on the wild side.' I want to die with 10 million pictures in my library, flat broke, and a closet full of designer shoes. You're only given 1 life, 1 chance.. why not run with it.

I wake up on time for class, already dressed and ready to go, haha, just a little pant-less, and as I'm looking for my car in the parking lot, I remember 'oh yeah, it's not here.' Lovely. I love the fabric and color palette he uses. His line is flawless. And of course, LOVED THE SHOES.

Vera Wang had nothing to offer, shoe wise or clothes wise. I think the only thing that actually touched the models skin was the plain black booties. I didn't like how everything was loose and just hung on the model like a hanger. boring.

Mara Hoffman - I really want those colored feathered leggings!!

Catherine Malandrino had some killer high heels, but I think the clothes designs overlooked them. She had some weird embellishments on some of the pieces.. slinky hands wrapping around the waist and shoulder, then an eye in the middle of the dress, and the hair! Kinda creepy, but I liked it! I loved the angel wing / bird wing embroidery the most. She had a couple fur pieces..which reminds me.. WHERE THE HELL IS PETA??

Nanette Lepore - I've never heard of this designer, so I thought I'd check out her debut and I like her line!! Her shoes are cute to say the least- cheetah print booties, with bow ties at the ankle. I love her mix-n-match designs and texture.

Oscar de la renta - I love these silver shiny bootie pumps. And of course, his dresses are just drop dead gorgeous. Thought I'd post them just for drool factors. His line was full of priceless pieces, you know Rachel Zoe picked up half of them.

And I absolutely hate Marc Jacobs this fall, clothes n shoes n all. Not a big fan of the retro-80's look. There's a lot of 'wow' but not the WOW I like. Don't get me wrong, Marc is the man, but this was like a couture show; I didn't see many pieces I would actually walk off the runway with. Perhaps it's just me, but I don't like the oversized shoulder pads, string pants, and shiny neon colors; weird, over-the-top futuristic designs. Outrageously brilliant? I don't know. Out of 60 pieces, I only saw a couple of skirts, one pair of shoes, and sunglasses...everything else, NEXT.

Whoah, where as the past couple of days gone? Well, from being sick..and uhhhh ruining my bebe booties and uhhh breaking my foot in them.. it's been a rough couple of days. I haven't even looked at my booties since the accident.. I know I probably scuffed the leather.. and that just makes me want to blow my brains out all over my blog.. but hmph. Don't tell mommy.

Well, on a lighter note, I read in NYMAG that Alexander Wang unveiled a limited-edition condom he designed with Planned Parenthood.

"When Planned Parenthood approached me to collaborate with them on a project that makes condoms more appealing to women, I loved the idea! I used to spare design that felt sexy, modern and empowering; after all, women should always come first!"

As I was walking to class this afternoon, ipod in right hand, coffee in left, day-dreaming about my next blog, staring at the awfully dressed on campus through my huge sunglasses... I reflected on myself that I was wearing those dreadful, never going to disappear, UGG boots. Yes, they went out of style like 5 million years ago, but I'm still wearing them. And, if I'm not mistaken, I read that UGG boot sales are up in percentage. All of these new beautiful, fierce spring platforms are coming out, I should know I droll over them every day, but yet I am still rockin the UGG boots, along with half of society. Is this recession now effecting what people wear on their feet? No more fashion statements? Comfort vs. style. Balance vs. fierce. I always judge a person by what they are wearing on their feet. And lately, now that I think about it, everyone is wearing the same style, and shoes that were soooo last season. Ugh.

When Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet at the SAG Awards, I knew something was strange about her dress! And NYMAG just proved my observation right! Apparently, Mrs. Jolie-Pitt wore her Max Azira dress backwards.. not on accident, but on purpose. She claimed she wanted to make the dress "more blouson." The dress did show off her awesome tattoos, and draped her body beautifully in royal blue.. but I'd love to see Angelina in something different, something more VAVOOM, but stickin with her vintage flowy silhouette. I'd love to see her in these Elie Saab Couture dresses which is her style, but spiced with some Hollywood glam.

What planet is Lady Gaga from? Apparently, she's from her own..and thus, dresses accordingly.

Ok, soo she's a little eccentric, but I do commend her for her own style and 'thought process.' And she does make most of her outfits by hand... She kind of reminds me of Madonna.. but in latex.. wearing the most outrageous but righteous shades possible. Pretty intriguing. She's one of those people I'd love to meet and just observe.. and pick her brain.

Ok, as if Sarah Palin hasn't already embarrassed and tainted the real world, she is now crossing the line in the fashion world with her cheap pair of Naughty Monkey shoes that were just auctioned off for about $2,000. Apparently, the unknown eBay bidder who claims to be her niece and is going to throw in autographs and even a fuckin sharpie she's used to sign things. ARE YOU SERIOUS! It's not known where that 2,000 dollars is going, but I'm pretty sure, without a doubt, it's not going to a charity.. it's going in Palin's pocket. I mean, isn't she desperately seeking a 20 million dollar book deal? This dumb lady is trying to make bank. I am surprised though she did give back all $180,000 worth of designer outfits to the RNC office in D.C. HOWEVER, not surprising one bit, they are still sitting in trash bags.. trash bags? TRASH BAGS? Valentino, Elie Tahari, Escada are sitting in trash bags, like leaves or yesterday's garbage. Ha, obviously no hurry to auction them off for charities. Bottom line, this lady is erking me to the max.. as if I wasn't already upset that she rocked a poor little ferret around her neck at a speech. I'm over her. She had her fame, now it's time for her to crawl back in that igloo she came out of it.

Gareth Pugh debuted his Fall 2009 Collection this week, and it's quite interesting to say the least. I know I hated on him in my previous blog about him bringing back the two-tones, but I actually like this.. this all black, gothic looks with straight lines and amazingly tailored leather jackets. Look closely.. the patterns are deep and so intricate. This collection really gives off an almost Matrix feel, but taken to the next level with a hint of grunge and layer. Out of all the menswear Fall collections, I'm really liking Mr. Gareth's the best. His collection is a borderline "technical masterpiece." And there's word he might become the head designer for Dior? Hmmm.. But again, I'm lovin the head accessories! A lot of designers seem to really be going for dark colors with a spice of goth? One could ask, is the recession being reflected in designs now, or is fashion just finally catching up with my taste and style? ha ha :)

Oh, on the total opposite end of the spectrum, I just learned today that Stella McCartney uses only organic cotton and fibers in her collections. She's my hero.

Chanel just debuted it's 2009 Spring Couture Collection. Chanel, of course, is all about straight lines, tailored looks, and clean silhouettes. I love the ivory/white and flowers with the sheer/shiny fabric.. looks so dainty and just pretty. And I really liked how some odd pieces were included along with black, like spice, to make it interesting.

Believe it or not, all of the crazy headdresses were made from office paper by hairdresser Katsuya Kamo. He used only 2 packets of 11 x 17 office paper and with seven helpers, it took them 3 weeks to make every one of those intricate pieces.

Side note - a lot of designers are really incorporating accessories, like hats. I love it!

One poor model took a tumble during the show..a couture show! how embarrassing.. but the heels were pretty freakin high. Everyone will forget Alexandra Tomlinson..

Now this is what I'm talking about!! Christian Dior has unbelievably left me speechless. I'm totally blown away with his Spring 2009 Couture Collection. From the hats to the dresses to the patterns and fabric.. OH MY GOD. Reminds me of medieval costume.. oh, I'm in love. Before I die, I will own a Dior couture dress.

So, the other night I had a dream, as cheesy as it may sound... but I'm assuming I died. I have no idea how I died, but I did. And my dream started while I was floating up to heaven (thank god, right).. in this giant bubble (like the rhapsody commercial) through all these clouds with sunshine and butterflies all around me. It felt so real; total out of body experience. Well, all of a sudden I was at these golden gates.. and I opened them.. and there was my grandma and Jesus standing right there. I then started to cry and just walked to Jesus and he just hugged me and said, "Stacy.. its okay. Its going to be okay." Then I woke up. =) As cheesy as it may sound, for once in my life, I felt completely at peace at that very moment. I've never felt so calm in my entire life. And I just gently went back to sleep. HOWEVER, I was thinking.. what was I wearing.. and honestly, I don't think I was wearing anything!! How tragic! So ok, getting to the point here, I want to die and thus meet Jesus, or Satan, haha you never know, in a fuckin DIOR COUTURE DRESS!! I will not die or be buried alone.. someone will be on me and my feet. Going in the will!

Zac Posen just debuted his 2009 Pre-Fall Collection and it has 1940's written all over it. From the broad shoulder pads and sailor hats, to the scoop necks, fringe, high-waisted belts and bright red lipstick. So vintage, yet very modernized. I have noticed that designers have really been inspired by fashions in the past; especially at the SAG Awards with all the side-shouldered dresses and deep rich bold colors. I like the fall previews, but all I see is trends and designs coming back, and honestly, I want to see new silhouettes, new cuts, new patterns.. not the same idea modernized. Posen's collection is beautiful, but come on, something new, please.

Daaammmnnnn... what a couple of weeks it has been. Between school, and boys, and my own crazy self, I have not been able to catch a breath til now. I was in one of my fashion classes last thursday, and my prof said "one shouldn't start a blog unless one keeps up with it everyday, and is truly creative.. or else one comes off flakey, and god knows you don't want that." haha, ohhh myyy. I then dropped my hand.. was not about to mention I had a fashion blog, seeing as though, in her world, I'm flakier than snowflakes.. I then had a revelation.. I AM going to keep up with my blogging and fashion, and hopefully it kills me. And I'll definitely have more time on my hands seeing as though Statesboro called in like a million and one cops for "operation blue thunder" - undercovers at the bars, crashing parties, roadblocks at 4:00 everyday. Ridiculous.. so I'm staying inside. Or just pushing that advance on my fake.

Well, here's an update on what's been happenin...

My girlfriends threw me an AMAZING birthday party at my apartment. I truly love them! It was bangin with keg stands, ice luge, and then I made a skating rink in the kitchen. haha. It was hella fun. I can't believe they even pulled it off.. because I so have this 6th sense about people and normally know when something's up.. but damn, spidey sense has gotten weak, and they totally blew me away. Thank you girls:) OH, and I definitely got my leather jacket, loves it!

As of Wednesday and yesterday, I am officially a member of SAGE (Students Association for a Greener Earth) and 100% vegan. I've always had an itch in my brain when I would throw plastic bottles away, eat the meat/products of animals that have been abused and tortured just to fill my stomach. Well, by joining and going green mind body and soul, I feel as if I have scratched that itch. Call me a freak, I'd rather hear hippie, but I feel totally pure. :)

As for the boy bogus.. eh, they can always be replaced with other men - Marc Jacobs, Roberto, Ralph Lauren.. and bottles of wine and Mr. Patron. but I do still heart SMC.<3

Well, that's pretty much it.

I'm trying to find a new style..but I'm missing a piece... my long wavy hair , so I'm having hella stutter thoughts and commitment issues. I was called "emo" the other day by someone obviously ignorant to fashion.. I just like to wear black, and a lot of it, fashionably. :)

Anyway, my mind is collected and it's back to tapping away on my mac.

Well, as you know, I'm seriously obsessed with shoes. From 1" to 6" in every color, in every style. They are my passion for fashion. I'd love to make my own footprint in the shoe industry one day. Well, my mother bought me this calendar for christmas, this shoe calendar (SHOES-page.a.day-gallery calendar-2009), and everyday for every month, a different pair of shoes is displayed. So, since school has started back up and I finally feel back at peace in my room, I figured I'd share the shoes on my blog. (It's weird how I can find such creativity with the shut of my door..just sitting on the floor..listening to nothing but my thoughts&ideas..in just one long stream of crazy collective consciousness) Well, all these shoes simply inspire me and hopefully they'll inspire you, from head to toe ;)

Sooo as I'm sitting here in my mom's office waiting on agents, that carry my mere career and success in the palms of their cruel hands, to get back from lunch . . and waiting for others to hopefully call me back . . I have seen almost every kid in the neighborhood riding a unicycle. Yes, a one-wheeled bike. Since when was a UNICYCLE on a kid's christmas wish list. AND I've seen a couple people's facebook statuses saying "riding my unicycle." Excuse me, but what the fuck? Is this some new 'popular kid' fad that's sweeping the nation? I hope not . . And what, are they going to spin plates on top of sticks now too? u-geeegha.

OH EM GEE.. You know you're behind on blogging when you officially have to sign in again . .

Well, the month of December was undoubtingly a crazy yet gloomy month. A lot happened; speeding ticket that I definitely won't be able to pay . . not-so-exciting black Christmas . . the death of a close fashionista buddy . . my mom becoming ill . . humiliating New Years . . gaining like 10 pounds . . having absolutely no dollar bills in the bank . . and just the overall depressing mood that's been brought by the cold air and dark days. I don't think I've really seen the sun shine in quite a while. Nor have I even been on top of my fashion browsing..which is depressing nonetheless. But December did bring some smiles; successful photoshoot with my new and improved agent . . rekindling old relationships . . and the best part honestly, hanging with my younger brother.

So, all in all, I've been too busy, not that happy, not so interested, not really anything for a while . . and my blog hurt the most from it.

HOWEVER, with the new year and new attitude, high spirits,and huge kick in the ass I've given myself, I'm back to blogging and shall be doin it well. :) I promise! So STAY TUNED! <3

soo they're pretty basic, nothing extraordinary.. but I'm just astonished and proud of myself that I actually hand-made and sewed this outfit. I have such a strong sense of accomplishment.

However, after many long hours in the sewing lab and needle stab marks all over my fingers from ridiculous whip stitching, I now know I definitely DO NOT want to be a fashion designer. Making clothes is such a pain in the ass, and I just don't have the patience nor the passion.

Shoe design (as shown: BEBE) is without a doubt my cup of tea =)

Well, this is just the beginning! So exhilarating.

Designer of the Year - Luella Bartley

Who is Luella Bartley? Apparently, this onetime British Vogue editor is Brit's "IT" fashion designer. Her Spring 2009 Collection seems very pecuilar to me, but definitely has the British street chic look. Her looks are "colorful chanel meets pretty punk." Believe it or not, her collection is very tasteful and full of life and color; she has great aesthetic, a great eye for new fashion. And a major plus, she has some killer accessories from shoes to leather handbags to gloves to pins. You can actually find her collection in Target for she just launched it through Target's 'Go International' Collection. loves it!

I am completely baffled yet mesmerized by these futuristic heels. I am allll about wearable art, and these definitely make a statement. I admire the fact that now your feet can feel the ground wherever your heels take you. I bet Posh gets a pair next week, as well as me.

Priceless. The fertility goddess could not be used in a better way. This artifact signified women way back when, as do heels this century.

Booties are HOTT this season, and of course, without a doubt, Balenciaga makes them HOTTER. I absolutely love the detail in the black leather boot, along with the jewels on the heel. The open toe adds the spice. I'd kill for a pair!

These heels should not be kept a secret. They should be worn and worked to death. They need to make history.
